Brannam Medical Centre has an opportunity for a GP, 4-6 sessions, to join our expanding team.  We value the GP partnership model and this position would be salaried with a view to partnership for the right candidate.

 

We have a strong focus on continuity of care and still run a personal list system.  Despite being a large practice, this allows us to provide holistic family medicine, which is reflected in our excellent patient feedback and national survey results.  We have recently moved to a clinical triage model for all GP appointments.

 

Barnstaple is an excellent place to live and work, close to surfing beaches and the beautiful Exmoor National Park.  Sailing, cycling, walking and a host of other leisure activities are available and a link to the M5 motorway gives easy access to the rest of the country.

 

•13 partners, 4 salaried GPs
•Purpose-built premises, close to town centre serving a mixed urban and rural population of 19500 patients
•Maximum QOF score, excellent patient satisfaction and FFT results
•Personal list system supported by excellent nursing, allied health professional, pharmacy and administrative teams
•Passionate about training - registrars, medical students , paramedics, nursing students and pre-registration pharmacists
•Park Run friendly practice, situated a few hundred meters from our local course
•Close working relationships with our PCN which has a sensible geographic footprint
•Shared wellbeing team, mental health practitioners, pharmacy team, first contact physiotherapists and care home/housebound team including a visiting service.
